A warm welcome
Hello — I’m Eda, a state-registered Art Psychotherapist offering a safe, inclusive, and non-judgemental space for people of all ages from the beautiful Practice Rooms in London Bridge, SE1.
If you’re here today, you may be navigating life’s challenges, or feeling anxious, low, or stuck. Perhaps you’re facing grief or change, struggling with self-esteem, or finding it hard to communicate or connect with yourself or others. You may have experienced a significant life event, or simply want to understand yourself more deeply at this time.
Whatever brings you here, you are not alone.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, but it is possible to find support, understanding, and growth along the way. My own path into art psychotherapy began during a time when I had to pause, reflect, and rebuild in ways I hadn’t anticipated. I discovered the power of support, self-reflection, and the small steps that create lasting, meaningful change.
I work at your pace, offering a space that values curiosity, creativity, respect, and collaboration. Together, we can explore what lies beneath the surface, make sense of difficult feelings, and move toward healing, clarity, and growth.

My experience and specialisms

Firstly, what is Art Psychotherapy, and how can it help you?
Art psychotherapy combines the power of creativity with verbal reflection. When you come for art therapy, you don’t need to be “good” at art or have any previous experience in art making — the focus isn’t on producing something finished or perfect, but on what emerges in the process and the meaning you make of it.
The art psychotherapy process can help you to;
-
Express, process and make sense of difficult or overwhelming emotions
-
Reduce anxiety and support emotional regulation
-
Build self-awareness, confidence, and insight
-
Work through grief, loss, trauma, or major life transitions at your own pace
-
Improve communication and relationships by deepening understanding of yourself and others
-
Reconnect with creativity and playfulness, fostering resilience, self-esteem, and overall wellbeing
Sessions may include a mix of talking, art-making, and reflection. There’s never pressure to create — I’ll support you to find your own comfort, rhythm, and creative flow.
Since graduating from Goldsmiths MA Art Psychotherapy, I have worked with adults and children in charity and NHS settings, working with young women’s and addiction recovery services, disability and bereavement. Currently, alongside private practice, I also work part-time in a public service with children and adolescents, supporting emotional, social, and behavioural challenges.
I've also completed a clinical supervision diploma, and I supervise a number of individual and groups in a variety of settings including child and adolescent mental health, grief, loss and complex medical conditions.
My clinical experience spans working within diverse communities and people of all ages, abilities and experiences. I support individuals with a wide range of issues and challenges, while also offering particular specialisms developed through extensive training and practice. I welcome people with many different needs, and these areas of expertise can provide added depth for those seeking more focused support.
I have specialist training and extensive experience in working in;
Art Therapy for anxiety and low-mood

Dyadic Art Therapy
Anxiety and low mood can feel overwhelming. I support clients to access deep seated challenges through creative expression, helping you reconnect with your strengths and move toward greater clarity and balance.
Dyadic Art Therapy supports the child and their primary carer to connect through art-making, creativity and a shared experience. The focus is on the relationship - I will help you explore feelings, strengthen communication, and build a more trusting relationship in a safe, guided space.

Creative grief and bereavement support

Child and Adolescent Art Therapy
Grief therapy offers a safe, supportive space to navigate loss and life transitions. Whether you are navigating bereavement, illness, disability, or significant change, I use creativity and gentle guidance to honour your experiences, and begin to adjust to a new chapter.
I use playful, flexible, and age-appropriate approaches to help young people express themselves, navigate challenges, and develop coping skills. I also offer reflective spaces for parents and carers and collaborate with schools to ensure consistent understanding and care.

Relationships, connection, belonging and identity

Neuro-affirmative Art Therapy
Art therapy provides a safe, supportive space to explore your identity, relationships, and sense of belonging. Through creative expression, you can process difficult feelings, build trust, practice healthy boundaries, and discover new ways of connecting with yourself and your experiences.
Neuro-affirmative art therapy supports neurodivergent individuals through creative expression while affirming their strengths, needs, and identities. Through creative expression, we work together to help you understand your emotions, strengthen your voice, and grow in ways that suit you.

My approach and values
My professional values are lived principles that guide everything I do in practice, shaping relationships, decisions, and creating safe environment. They ensure that my work remains ethical, safe and centred on each individual’s needs.
I work in a person-centred way, with the values of curiosity, creativity, collaboration and compassion at the forefront of my practice. I have a strong theorical base and supportive approaches that I consistently draw from for every work I do. My priority is to offer you, or your child, a safe, warm and creative space where exploration, insight and meaning-making can flourish, and my values, approach and continued learning are an important part of this practice.

I am an Art Psychotherapist
Art psychotherapy uses creativity and reflection to help you explore your inner world. Sessions may include talking, art-making or both, at a pace that feels right for you. This process can support emotional expression, reduce anxiety, build self-awareness, and help you navigate grief, trauma and life changes.

My values are the heart of my approach

My work is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy
I work with the unconscious, paying attention to both your present and past experiences and needs, and the deeper patterns that may have shaped your experiences.

I am inspired by other forms of psychotherapy
Such as existential psychotherapy , dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and systemic psychotherapy. These influences keep my practice open, flexible, and responsive. They enrich the support I offer to each person.

I use ' object relations' and 'attachment' frameworks
Object relations and attachment theory are closely related psychotherapeutic frameworks that both focus on early relationships to make sense of our current ones.

My practice is trauma-informed and inclusive
Trauma-informed practice acknowledges the impact of trauma and integrates principles of safety, trust, choice, collaboration, empowerment, and cultural awareness to prevent re-traumatisation and support healing.
